Plot thing. - In the deepest depths of Hallo Academy, a school for the supernaturals, a restless spirit haunts dormitory number thirteen. This dormitory was the only dorm that was effected in the blazing inferno of nineteen eighty two. All but one of it's residents escaped it's fiery clutches. Natathia Rosenburg was never to be found again. Now in the year of two thousand and eleven, you are a student at Hallo Academy, and you want to discover the truth behind the flames. Can you find Natathia, dead or alive?
~
It's been bothering you for years. The story of Natathia Rosenburg, and how she supposedly had gone up in flames in the thirteenth dormitory. Ever since you arrived at Hallo Academy, when they offered you a place, saying that you had an amazing talent, it had bothered you. One that you couldn't control without special help. And you had laughed, saying that you didn't need any help, from anyone. Oh, how wrong you had been; so young and naive.
Anyway, that doesn't matter any more. You zip up your jacket and take a step into the cool dusk air. You figured that now would be the best time to check your first location; the old spot of dorm thirteen. Dorm thirteen was built after the rest of the school, because there wasn't enough room for all of the students.
You reach the edge of the forest, in the spot where dorm thirteen was. A figure sits alone crossed legged on the grass. Surprise overwhelms you, momentarily. You hadn't expected to find anyone out here; maybe they were searching for answers too? But that was impossible, no one else had shown the slightest amount of interest when you brought the subject up in class.
This girl has long blonde hair, which falls around her shoulders, hardly a hair out of place. Her pretty face surveys you, and something in her eyes makes you realise who you have stumbled upon. It is a student. But not one you have ever seen before. Except in photographs.
Natathia stares at you with sad eyes for a moment, before handing you a small teacup. "My only possession." She whispers, her eyes still fixed on you. "It's not actually real. It's a hologram. If you can find the real one, you're one step closer to finding me." And with that, her body flickers, and she is gone.
You've been walking for miles, and you have reached a murky dark forest, just off the edge of Hallo Academy. Something is shining in the undergrowth, and you race over to pick it up. In your clutches, you look down at the teacup, very small and cracked in numerous places, but also very real. Something behind it catches your eye, and you see the edge of a stone. Pushing away the foliage, you uncover a grave, and shivers run down your spine. But it is not that of Natathia. The engraving reads 'Lumina Rosenburg'. Who could this be?
Emerging from the mist, Natathia sits on the grave. "My twin." She says, hints of sadness and bitter coldness in her voice. "We didn't really get along, especially not on the night of the fire. No one else knows this, but she also didn't escape the fire. But her body isn't in the grave. It was open the day after they buried her so called 'ashes'. It could have been anything, most of the furniture was destroyed." Shaking her head, she fixes her mesmerising eyes on you once more. As she flashes away, she drops the rose she had been absent-mindedly twirling in her fingers.
After picking up the rose, your eyes start to droop, but before falling into slumber, a figure similar to that of Nathalia's appears in front of you. "I am Ren." She says, her eyes colder than her twin's. "Like my sister, I was not found on the night of the fire, but no one seemed to care about me, not even before the fire. I thought they'd care after.." Her voice trails away, and as if she has given something away, she starts to run, letting you sleep.
When you awaken, you find yourself in one of the school's dorms. The number on the emergency poster stuck to the wall says thirteen. You realize quickly that you have been sent back in time, maybe to the night of the fire. In the deepest corner of the room, a small flame starts to lick the wall, and you see the culprit. Ren stares back at you in shock. "I-I.." She stammers, backing away from the flames. "It wasn't me.." But you know she's lying. Trying to grab her, you leap forward, but your hands don't clasp around her arm as planned. A cruel laugh escapes from her, or so you think it does. Your eyesight is blurred with the smoke and you can't see straight. Before you collapse, you hear somebody yell out.
"Nobody can stop me! Nobody can stop me and he shall be mine!"
Escaping from the nightmare, you find yourself somewhere else. Pinching yourself hard to make sure you're actually awake, you cringe in pain. You are now in a round clearing, with lush grass and a stream around the edge. "You know I hate being called Lumina!" One of the voices is recognized as Ren. "It's your name, you should embrace it-" The other is that of Natathia. "MY NAME IS REN!" The evil twin bellows, making Natathia take a few steps away. But in that moment, something changes in Natathia's eyes, and she lunges out, curling her hands around Ren's neck. "Today, you will die, you selfish girl! I refuse to lose to you!"
The eyes in Ren's head bulge in terror, but she sees you, peaking above a large jagged rock. It was then when her power became apparent. A voice appears in your head, it is that of Ren's. "You may not believe me, but I will tell you anyway. Natathia killed me, and here she will kill me again. Her innocent act is all a lie. Even though we were only seventeen, I was engaged to be married to a young man called Fynius Patrenco. We were deeply in love, but my sister wanted him for herself. She thought that if she killed me, he would settle for the next best thing; her. So she started the fire, and I was over there trying to put it out. She managed to get away from the fire quickly, because we share a power; agility. But we each have one of our own, mind communication is mine, and mind manipulation is hers. She controlled me, she was the reason for my sudden mood change." As it all sinks in, you continue to stare at Ren. "But why did she want to be called Ren?" You think, and Ren picks up on it. "That's nothing to do with anything really, I just don't like my name it reminds me too much of Natathia. She always wanted to be called Lumina.."
You now understand most of the story, but the details are floating around your head. How is Natathia still the age that she is now, so many years later? Who's dead and who's alive? With a sharp pointed rock in your hand, you dart towards Natathia, and plunge the makeshift dagger into her side. She tumbles to the floor, and her body starts to go transparent. "She was a ghost." Ren says, panting for air. "But a ghost never really leaves until you kill it for a second time." You tilt your head. "Does this mean you're actually alive, like me?" Confusion spreads over her face. "I'm not sure." She admits, laughing slightly. "I feel alive, I suppose."
A sudden thought crosses your mind. "Your fiancée Fynius? Did he die on the night of the fire too?" Ren nods, you realise something. "He must still be alive, technically, like you. If a ghost never leaves you until you kill it for a second time then you're captured in time, seventeen forever." Ren gasps as she starts to see what this means.
,Drifting off the topic, Ren grabs both of your hands, a smile on her face. "I just want to thank you for solving this. I just ask one more thing of you."

The next day, the headlines of all of the newspapers are about the solved mystery of the dorm thirteen twins. Ren asked you to say that both of them had died, that it was malicious act of jealousy committed by Ren. The girl didn't mind taking the blame, as long as she could live the rest of eternity in peace. She even found Fynius later that night.
She and Fynius now live deep inside the heart of the woods, with a pack of wolves. The leader is a strong wolf with a strange blonde coat .
Her name, Natathia.
